it hurts cambodian leaders to see this large exodus of khmer workers from thailand! thailand should respect and treat these workers humanely!

Dear Honorable Mu Sochua, Thai government must not send back all illegal immigrant workers just in one shot like this. 200,000 two hundred people just less than a week, is very painful for Cambodia to resettle them as basic need and human consumption. It is like at the Khmer Rouge era that has pushed the urban citizens to move out from their home in about three days. Kids are hurt and sick everywhere. Parents have no food and water and they are so exhausted from long travel. The Junta government must realize that those illegal immigrants work in Thailand for as long as one year or more. Why those employers use the illegal immigrants to work from the first place. Now Junta and Thai employers have known that Thai job has slowed and the Junta government is suspicious that Cambodians might request for legal status or to create sabotage against Junta like Crimea of Ukraine maybe. Or Junta wants to get away from Preah Vihear case that ICJ has assured it is Cambodian possession. Junta must be responsible for the lost of lives and compensate the return in mass that Cambodian government has no resources ready for them. Otherwise, we must file an complaint through United Nations for crime against humanity all includes the bombardment over Preah Vihear temple which destroyed our villages, market, and our precious temple. Thai government must pay the price. Khmernat.

agree, even sending this large number of people back to cambodia needs time and facilities to process them, not just dumping and abandoning them like animals like this. this is why a lot of khmer people see this and get very irritated. thailand is so cruel!

I don't blame Thai authorities of doing that to Khmer migrant workers.
Humanely or not, Thais leaders cared for the security of their country.

But how about over SEVEN MILIONS ILLEGAL VIET COLONISTS flocking into Cambodia every day, months, and years without a brake facilitated by Hun Sen and his cronies.

In Tonle Sap alone with over 50,000 Yuon floating houses, 5 to 10 per house, do Khmers know how to make math calculation ?

And not counting yet the Yuon colonists on 3 Millions Hectares Land concession for 99 years for Hanoi's rubber plantation in Kratie, Mondulkiri, Rottanakkiri.

These 3 provinces will be the Second Kampuchea Krom.

I thought micro-lending thing was a very low interest loan. I had someone told me from America that he had money in third world country for lending to the poor like 1% interest. It was not a money making investment but for the sake of the poor who need a helping hand. Well, in America there is no exception for the poor are taken advantage of by Pay-Day loan and wat not. A sick society when people make money their god.

You folks accuse Thais to be cruel, but look at yourselves. You are inciting to do the same to the Vietnamese and you have always been inciting war, killing, murdering other races.

i keep hearing and see people complain here about somebody in cambodia is leasing concession lands to vietnamese or youn company, especially in border provinces like ratanakiri, mondolkiri, kracheh, etc. i think they should check to see you is doing it and for how much they are making money from it? foreigners in general can't do it alone unless they have the native or local khmer collaborating with them with agreeable fees, etc... i think the power of money in the economy is driving it, not the colonial ambition like during the past. nowadays, it is more like the power of money dictate the business people to make money in any way they can. it takes the local enablers for foreign company like the vietnamese, etc to come and lease land concessions, for plantation etc... so, check and verify who are the local enablers, then you can see the real motive behind it. i think it is more about the business and the economy than the old youn ambition of colonizing and stake claim of lands and waters and other territories belonging to cambodia. in the past it was the case, but nowadays, it is something else different, i.e. the business drives and the economic drives. cambodia law prohibits all foreign from owning cambodian lands and territories outright, they can only lease it, not own it outright. it is against khmer law to own it outright because lands and territories are rights of cambodia and will always belong to cambodia, not foreigners who came to invest and do business in cambodia. so, know the difference.

talking about karma. Treat the Viet in Cambodia better and may be your next life, you would be treated better. The sin of a nation.

This is the result of a country has a gangster, thug and killer
background as a leader. This is a fault of the national and international people who support the devil CPP as a leader of Cambodia. All these people have to take a responsibility for this kind of a serious tragedy. Because of the supports to the wrong people for leading the country caused the suffer for the cambodians'lives.

that's because the viet or youn have ambition to expand and steal koh tral, etc! khmer people don't like what the vietnamese or youn is doing to cambodia, that's why we hate their guts! if they steal and don't have ambition to expand into cambodia, then we don't hate them, as simple as that! look at our koh tral, vietnam or youn control it and call it their own when in historical fact, it was always a khmer island. koh tral is huge, that's why vietnam want to control it and take it from cambodia. cambodia wants it back!
